POUND is one of the hottest workouts in the world! I have been certified since 2014 and was one of Iowa’s first POUND instructors! There are over 11,000 POUND instructors world-wide and POUND classes are held in over 50 countries!
POUND is a total-body workout that will get you moving and grooving so much you’ll forget you’re working out! The best news is that you will get cardio, toning, and core work in a 45-minute jam session!
My POUND class is offered on Tuesday nights at Edmunds Elementary in Sherman Hill. Class is from 6:00-6:45 PM in the gymnasium. Parking and gym entrance is on the north and west side of Edmunds. Registration is open!
Who Can POUND?
POUND is a cardio jam session that will make you sweat, smile, and see exercise in a whole new light. Anyone over the age of 14 is welcome to join this class!
POUND is for ALL ability and fitness levels. There are modifications available for individuals looking for low-impact and those wanting to really elevate heart rate.
What to Expect?
Wondering what to your POUND Rockout Workout experience will be like if you join my POUND Posse?
Class is 45 minutes and once we get started we just keep going! Most of the tracks are done from a standing position but there are a couple tracks that are done sitting or lying on the floor. Shoes are optional – I prefer going barefoot. Shoes with a lot of tread are not recommended as they make transitions more difficult.
You will need to bring your own yoga mat but I provide the Ripstix! Don’t forget your water bottle!
