One of my favorite exercises for the core is the bicycle crunch. This is also the one exercise that typically makes me grimace when I see others attempting it. Most people try to do the bicycle crunch too fast. Remember, it’s quality, not quantity!
Because I teach so often I am usually trying to find a simple twist for a traditional exercise. For this particular exercise I have eliminated the upper body movement normally seen with the bicycle crunch and created a slightly different core challenge.
